Intro corkshell With corkshell™ from Schoeller, it is now possible to combine the outstanding natural features of cork with those of high-performance fabrics. corkshell™ offers much higher thermal insulation than functional fabrics while providing both high breathability and wearer comfort.
corkshell™ is made of an FSC-certified cork granulate that is a by-product in the manufacturing of wine corks. This natural granulate is pulverized and firmly anchored as a coating in a special process patented by Schoeller.
Two corkshell™ options are available:
  • Two-layer fabric construction with a cork coating on the inside of the fabric
  • Three-layer fabric construction with the cork coating in the middle

All fabric constructions are water and wind repelling, highly breathable and is available in both 2-way and 4-way stretch qualities.

Intro ecodye Less time, less water, less energy – schoeller®-ecodye is a specially developed auxiliary concept for polyester (PES) dyeing processes. The technology accelerates the dyeing process of yarns and piece goods, thereby saving resources and costs, while simultaneously protecting the environment.
ecodye Block 1
schoeller® ecodye makes shorter heating-up phases possible. In addition, the dyeing process improves the product quality. Even with critical nuances and dye combinations, the use of this technology does not negatively impact the evenness of the dyeing.

The plant cuticle is the very outer layer of leaves which protects them from uncontrolled evaporation. This wafer-thin waxy film enveloping the leaves and stems is responsible for the familiar way that water droplets run off in the morning dew or in heavy rain. ecorepel® ® uses a highly functional, permanently odorless high-tech finish that mimics the natural protective mechanism of plants. The finish spirals around the individual fibers in a thin film, reducing surface tension. This creates the repellent effect that causes water droplets and watery dirt to roll off the textile surface. Breathability is not impaired, the handle remains pleasantly soft, and the textiles stay dry and clean.
