Aus entsorgten Reifen wird hochwertiges Garn




Q-CYCLE® von Fulgar ist eine neue Art der Garnherstellung. Q-CYCLE® ist ein innovatives Polyamid 6.6.
100 % des für seine Produktion benötigten Rohmaterials wurden durch Pyrolyseöl aus entsorgten Reifen ersetzt. Das Polyamid 6.6 bietet dieselben funktionalen und ästhetischen Vorteile wie Leichtigkeit, Stärke und Widerstandsfähigkeit, jedoch in nachhaltigerer Form.

EINE NEUE NACHHALTIGE TECHNOLOGIE

DIE ZUKUNFT VON NYLON 6.6

Das neue Q-CYCLE®-Garn ist das Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit zwischen BASFs ChemCycling™-Projekt und Fulgars Textilkenntnissen und Erfahrungen.
ChemCycling™, basierend auf Pyrolysetechnologie, ermöglicht es, gebrauchten Plastikmüll sowie entsorgte Reifen in Pyrolyseöl umzuwandeln, welches dann als Rohmaterial für neue Produkte dient und die gleichen Eigenschaften wie das ursprüngliches Produkt aufweist, ohne nicht erneuerbare Quellen wie fossiles Öl zu verwenden.

Dieser einzigartige Prozess wird auf der Grundlage eines Massebilanzverfahrens durchgeführt und bewertet.

Die Pyrolysetechnologie kann auf alle Kunststoffabfälle angewendet werden, die nicht mechanisch recycelt werden können, wie beispielsweise entsorgte Reifen. Fulgar hat sich entschieden, dieses neue Material zu verwenden, da es weit verbreitet ist und in der Regel verbrannt wird, wodurch erhebliche CO2-Emissionen verringert werden können.

schoeller®-ecorepel®BIO besteht aus recyceltem Q-cycle Polyamid mit Elastan auf der Außenseite und natürliche, waschbare NATIVA Merino Wolle auf der Innenseite.
Das Textil bietet höchsten Witterungsschutz, Atmungsaktivität, Tragekomfort und Langlebigkeit durch Abriebschutz. Es eignet sich perfekt für Outdoor und urbanen Aktivitäten wie Mountaineering, Commuting, Running und Cycling.
