Who we are Schoeller Textil AG is a textile manufacturer with headquarters in Switzerland. The globally-operating company specializes in the sustainable development and production of innovative textiles and textile technologies, which are leaders in niche markets worldwide. As a system supplier of solution-oriented products, Schoeller addresses specific customer requirements and supplies its customers and partners with tangible added value. The roots of the company go back as far as the year 1868.

Schoeller Textil AG is jointly owned by the Albers Group, Switzerland, and Formosa Taffeta, Taiwan. The internationally oriented Albers Group is involved in the areas of high-tech textiles and real estate. Formosa Taffeta is one of the world’s most prominent suppliers to global sports and fashion brands and is a leader in technical textiles.

"Technologies und Licensing" offers smart textile technologies for the various requirementns of the textile industry and makes these available to brand article manufacturers and production partners in the form of patents and trade brands.

"Eschler Technical Textiles" are innovative knitted fabrics for technical areas of application, produced at the German Eschler Textil GmbH site in Balingen.
With a history extending over decades, the proven, durable stretch fabrics accompany and protect the active golfer as well as the horsewoman, the mountain hiker or the skier. The Lifestyle collection catches the eye with special optic effects and is ideal for fashionable clothing with functionality. The Cosmopolitan collection stands for multi-functional fabrics in which the modern, mobile global citizens always feels comfortable, is perfectly protected and can underline his personality with individual styles. Schoeller sees itself as an innovative solution supplier and develops customer-specific products with special added value.

Intro BU Technologies & Licensing The Technologies & Licensing division offers clever and innovative textile technologies for the various requirements of the textile industry. We make these available to our production partners in the form of patents and brands. We grant licence holders not only the utilization rights and global support in technical issues but also the best possible service quality in marketing and distribution.
Water-repelling, UV ray protective or fast-drying – our pioneering technologies – lend textiles additional functions. They can be universally applied and are used by premium brands worldwide in functional clothing and in other areas such as corporate wear, protective workwear or furniture covering.

Intro BU Eschler Knitting Textile Eschler Knitting Textiles is a leader in tailored customer solutions in knitted fabrics. These special textiles make an impact through an innovative combination of structure, delicacy and function. Whether on a bike or in the ski slopes, eschler knitted fabrics always provide the right performance. Extensive experience in elite sports such as Alpine skiing, speed skating, triathlon and rowing also inspires developments for popular sports and other categories including workwear.

ecs (eschler® comfort system) is a coordinated and proven textile layer system. Each of the functional layers made of eschler®, a schoeller® brand knitted fabric, ensures an ideal body climate, feels pleasant against the skin and offers maximum comfort.

Intro BU Eschler Technical Textiles Eschler Technical Textiles offers sustainable developed, customized solutions for technical areas of application. Our German production site, Eschler Textil GmbH in Balingen, has been considered as a competent partner for many years when innovative warp-knitted technical textiles are requested.
Variety is what makes our textile range. By making our production order orientated we can respond to specific wishes and meet our customers’ special requirements and this also includes the flexibility to produce small quantities.
